Week III: The Veneto

For our final week in Italy we moved further east to the region of The Veneto. With Venice as its capital, this area gets plenty of visitors, especially in Summer, so we decided to stay 30 mins out of the Venice crowds at a place called Treviso.

To start, here are some snaps from our time in the ever popular floating city. I can see why it is so special, just wish so many other people didn't have to as well!

The summer crowds of St Mark's Square snapped from the safety of a tower on another island

Some Venetian tomatoes

So many good photo ops

All dressed up waiting for customers

And now to show you what other amazing sites The Veneto has to offer...

Lush green vinyards speckled with villages - we went on a wine tour with our B&B and tried some great Prosecco wines

The entrance to Juliet's "house" in Verona graffited with thousands of layered love messages stuck on with chewing gum
